No, bringing in food from outside vendors to your event is a violation of the Room Reservation Policy. Chartwell’s offers various catering options for Student Union Building events.

Yes, the Event Planning and Scheduling Office will email you a confirmation of your reservation.

Unfortunately, the University of New Mexico is a dry campus and alcohol is not permitted at events on UNM grounds. Exceptions to this rule are the Faculty Staff Club, the University of New Mexico Championship Golf Course, and Hodgin Hall.

Smoking is not allowed in the building but there are designated smoking areas outside, around the building.

The University of New Mexico is a pet friendly campus, however animals are not allowed in the buildings, with exception of ADA approved animals.
